• WebAssembly for high-performance, secure execution in your browser
• AI models (like ISNet) that run entirely client-side via ONNX Runtime
• Zero server interaction — your files are never uploaded or transmitted

3. Anonymous Analytics (Optional)

We collect minimal, anonymized usage data to improve performance and reliability:

• Browser type and screen size
• Feature usage (e.g., compression started)
• No IP addresses, no filenames, no image content

You can disable analytics at any time via your browser's cookie settings.

4. Cookies & Advertising

We use cookies in three ways:

• Essential local storage — to remember your last-used settings (format, quality). No personal data.
• Advertising cookies — to keep imgshrnk free, we serve ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history.
• Conversion tracking — we use Google Ads (tag ID: AW-18151994202) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This tag may set cookies to help us understand how users interact with our site after clicking an ad.

All advertising and tracking cookies are subject to Google Consent Mode v2 — they are only activated if you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's ad settings. Your images are never part of any advertising or tracking system.

5. Security by Design

Our use of WebAssembly and client-side AI ensures:

• Memory isolation — processed data cannot be accessed by external scripts
• Automatic cleanup after processing
• Fallback to Canvas API if WebAssembly is unavailable

6. Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data:

• No data to delete — nothing is stored
• No account required — full access without login
• Opt out of analytics by blocking cookies
